By definition, home is a shelter.
A shelter is where they can’t find us, where we are safe from even the invisible.
If they can’t find us we might find ourselves.
Imagining a near future, I turned myself into a technologic scavenger and created a shelter with discarded communication devices (technologic fossils) found in dumpsters around my city. Once inside the structure all electronic communications where blocked thanks to a special reflective foil which made you digitally untraceable. We designed a special ceiling trap that you could open to make emergency phone calls. This shelter protects you from your phone’s constant tracking capabilities and raises consciousness about electronic recycling and harming radiation.
A shelter built with technology to escape from technology.
